ISO runs from 50 to 6,400 for stills and video, and up to 16,000 in low-light video. The Pocket 3 records slow motion in 4K at 120 fps and in 1080p at up to 240 fps. Owners praise the video and image quality and its low-light footage; other owners say it needs plenty of light and that image quality drops in dim conditions (see What owners report).
Gimbal Stabilization
Stabilisation is a 3-axis mechanical gimbal. Owners say it keeps footage smooth and steady; some report gimbal problems, such as the head drifting off so it needs recentering, or a unit with grinding noises (see What owners report).
Autofocus is phase detection (PDAF). Subject tracking is DJI's ActiveTrack 6.0, which turns the gimbal to follow the subject.
Audio & Connectivity
It has three built-in microphones. A DJI Mic 2 transmitter connects to the Pocket 3 directly, without a receiver.
Rotating the 2.0-inch touchscreen (556 × 314, 700 cd/m²) switches between horizontal and vertical recording.
